Hovhannes Hovhannisyan House-museum

Hovhannes Hovhannisyan's house-museum was opened in Etchmiadzin in 1948. The collection consists of 600 exhibits. They are personal and household items, books, photographs and documents validating the poet's life, studies, literary, political, social and pedagogical activities.

Hovhannes Hovhannisyan lived and created in his father's house for many years, which is the main exebit of the exhibition. The house is almost preserved unchanged. Later it was covered with Armenian tuff layer. It is a modest building of 1.5 floors, consisting of 4 rooms, a corridor, a kitchen and a spacious balcony.
